On Air is the first of its kind!
The biggest, global student broadcast ever!
On 16th October 2025 the Manifesto will host a channel for 26hrs where students from Universities around the globe will produce at least 1 hr of live content each.
We start in Auckland, New Zealand and finish up in LA, USA dropping in at 12 locations.
The channel will be broadcast to YouTube and hopefully via a FAST channel too 🤞
The purpose of the project is to connect students with their peers as they enter this global media industry and for industry to be able to spot the best up and coming international talent.
We will experiment with AI tools for subtitling and voice to voice recognition and bring together a wealth of technology partners to ensure it all works!
Hosted out of Ravensbourne University, London, the channel will also include adverts, industry panels and some student films too.
HOW CAN YOU HELP??
We are looking for Sponsors to cover H&S | refreshments for the students onsite at Ravensbourne and other costs associated with the project.
We are also looking for Companies to show their adverts on the channel (for a very small fee to contribute to costs).
****The On Air team are also looking for a distribution partner and any platform integrators to take the project further. This is a unique opportunity to extend the broadcast across additional digital and FAST environments.
